Consultation

Hello I am from Canada and I was diagnosed with adenomyosis a year ago. And just recently with bowel endometriosis after my MRI. I was initially on Dienogest, switched to medroxyprogesterone last month due to hot flashes. I was told that the endometriosis is in my bowels particularly in my sigmoid. And my uterus is attached to the sigmoid. My OB said to think about getting surgery done. I have a follow up appointment with him in January. I just want to know how I can get consultation with any of your endo specialist. I want to make sure that if I undergo surgery, I want someone expert to do it.

Hi, thank you for your message, and I am sorry you are going through this. The best way is to go to this link https://icarebetter.com/endometriosis/specialist/all/excision-surgery/
and find the doctor’s contact info on their profile. Then contact them. I am aware that most of our surgeons have special plans for Canadian patients due to the healthcare situation in Canada. Please let us know if you have specific questions about the process. I hope you will find relief soon.
